WHIRLWIND
name- Prairie Sky.nickname- Prairie to all of her friends.
reason- It was the first thing her mother saw when after she was born, therefore she's been stuck with it ever since.
age- 1 year, 4 months.
gender- Female.
group- Whirlwind.ranking- Member.
owns jewlery?- No.
appearance-She's small, to say in the least. Standing next to the average-sized feline, she's a good three inches shorter. Some say that it is perhaps that she never had a true growth spurt, like the other young members of the group. Others think that she might have been born short as a punishment, a curse that she was not happy to recieve. You see, she doesn't let others pick on her by her size; to her, she's just as qualified as any other cat in her group. Don't forget that.
Her pelt is a creamy white, an ivory streak on the open plains that is her territory. Splotched on top of the white are a few chocolate patches, mostly along her face, ears and tail. Layered on top of the splashes of color streaks a darker tabby, the common mackerel. Coming from her nose and around the left side of her face, it's like a birthmark; quite an odd marking, at that.
The optics that look out at the surroundings are a warm amber, flecked with darker chocolate. The color is quite stunning, even for such a bland shade. If only she truly appreciated her beauty, could see what others saw with her own eyes; perhaps she would see someone that she liked, that wasn't the failure that she imagined.
one line appearance-
small white she-cat with brown tabby patches and amber eyes.
personality-It's a sin to judge a book by it's cover. At least, for this feline it is, and her rules are those that she never breaks. She detests and even finds it vulgar to stereotype without properly getting to know the cat. She's been discriminated about her height, her markings, her attitude. And that's not exactly the way that she rolls in life, to say in the least.
She's a fiesty one, if you didn't realize that. However, don't confuse her with a rebel; she's never been known to go against her personal set of rules, whatever the consequence. That still doesn't mean that she's not allowed to have a temper. Somewhat short-tempered, her anger is quite easily flared up. You don't want to be too near her when this happens if you want your fur on your pelt. However, be lucky that these flares only last for a few minutes; they come and go quickly.
Even though her outside seems strong, once you really get to know her you'll find a more patient, loving side. Although rarely shown, she does keep the nearest to her closest to her heart, hoping that everything goes well for them. However, next to this softer side is the angst side she never shows; mad at the world and all of it's cruelty. Sometimes she wonders why the three groups even started fighting; it seems like so long ago that no one can really remember the reason. Along with this is the self-conscious part of her- how does the world view her? Do they like what they see? Would she like what she saw? The battle of her conflicting mind rages on, seperated only by the walls of her mind.likes- running, considerate cats, summer, wind, males, life, choice.
dislikes- cold, water, winter, restlessness, restriction, stereotypical felines.
history-She has an...interesing family. As soon as she could comprehend, she knew that her parents weren't just your average cats. Perhaps it started with their names, given due to the surroundings during birth. Autumn Wind and Prairie Sky? Often she questioned these names- why couldn't she just have a normal name like the other kits? No, she had to be special. And that was how she first started to doubt herself, building that self-conscious side in her bundle of personalities.
She grew up in the Whirlwind camp, getting to know their way of life. Of course, like all of the little kits, she loved just how fast she could run in comparison to the other groups; it was exhilarating, the feeling of wind rushing at top speed through her fur. Yet there was one thing that puzzled her about her lessons; why did she have to detest the other groups? What was wrong with them, and what was right about us? But the months of repetition soon told her to put these questions deep into her mind, where she would never confront them again. Quickly, she learned that in her world today she must hate the other groups and never make any friendships.family-
